About the Opportunity
Join our Liquor team and play a key role in driving commercial performance through data, insights, and strategic support. In this role, you’ll partner with the Merchandise and Marketing teams to deliver impactful financial outcomes. You’ll support supplier negotiations with robust commercial analysis, help optimise net working capital, and ensure rebates are accurately tracked and maximised.

In this Role 
•    Partner with the Merch team on strategy development for categories ensuring Liquor Pillar maximizes opportunities with suppliers.
•    Development and production of high-quality supplier profitability and funding ratio reports that are used to drive outcomes with ALM stakeholders.
•    Contribute to supplier negotiations delivering strong commercial outcomes for ALM
•    Own and execute of Net working capital strategies for the Liquor business that maximise the use of working capital and return on funds employed.
•    Own, develop and continuously improve ALM processes for calculation and payment of rebates including supplier volumetric rebates and ALM terms rebates.
•    Identify opportunities for profitability improvement and drive through to execution.
•    Build accurate budgets and forecasts within depth analysis and understanding of the business for all ALM merchandise income lines.
•    Commercial analysis of new product development and M+A opportunities in the O&E portfolio


You’re Likely a Match If 
•    Qualified CPA or CA with a strong background in senior roles, ideally within the FMCG sector
•    Strong financial and commercial acumen, with proven expertise in budgeting, profitability analysis, and management reporting
•    Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to present to stakeholders, and build relationships 
•    Advanced analytical and negotiation abilities, including data modelling and problem-solving to support strategic decision-making
•    Highly proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook, with a strong ability to prioritise and meet deadlines in a team environment
