About the Opportunity

Are you a creative thinker ready to make an impact? Metcash is seeking three talented Digital Designers – One for a 12-Month Fixed Term Contract and Two Permanent Full Time, to join our dynamic team at our Macquarie Park Head Office!

 

In this role, you’ll bring fresh ideas and strong design skills to a variety of projects, creating standout assets for advertising, digital campaigns, social media, and more. You’ll collaborate with passionate colleagues, work across multiple channels, and help ensure our brand shines at every touchpoint.

In this Role

  • Deliver best-practice creative across digital design, animation/motion graphics, POS, and innovative solutions to enhance the shopper experience
  • Create engaging collateral for Metcash’s retail and digital channels, including homepages, emails, apps, mobile, display advertising, and social media, with a focus on customer journey and business objectives
  • Develop interactive digital assets such as display ad units and social content pieces
  • Contribute to the Studio team’s timely delivery of regular BAU (business-as-usual) work
  • Collaborate closely with marketing, product, and retail teams to deliver cohesive brand experiences
  • Stay up to date with design trends, tools, and best practices to keep our creative output fresh and relevant

 

You’re Likely a Match If  

  • 4+ years’ experience in a marketing or agency environment
  • Proficient in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Premiere, and Figma
  • Strong portfolio showcasing design experience
  • Confident interpreting and executing creative briefs
  • Able to work across multiple projects simultaneously
  • Exceptional organisational and time management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Familiarity with AI-powered creative adaptation tools is a plus
