About the role:

The ERP Project Manager role is a fixed term, 2 year contract. 


The role is responsible for the delivery and operational transition of the MS Dynamics 365 ERP system across the relevant Metcash business pillars.


Lead and manage delivery teams consisting of (but not limited to) Business Analysts, Functional Analysts, Developers and Testers (including 3rd party vendors).


Determine the scope of the project and manage the delivery of the plans, scope definition, timelines, quality definition, assurance and financial control.


Ensure the projects are delivered within agreed quality, cost and schedule whilst maintaining the agreed project management standards and consistency, ensuring delivery achieves all customer requirements.


What you’ll do:

  • Lead the project team to ensure they define the ERP solution in line with project deliverables and expectations
  • Develop & mentor team members, and ensure standards, methodologies, policies and procedures are being adhered to and continuously improved
  • Demonstrate the application of standards, methodologies and practice through the analysis, design, project management, and implementation of the ERP solution
  • Own and proactively drive the full project lifecycle: successful project delivery will include full implementation, transition to an operational state and adoption of the solution by the stakeholders
  •  Manage all aspects of the project to ensure the project is delivered in accordance with the approved baselines (scope, budget, quality, schedule, benefits and risk)
  • Report on project progress, success criteria and metrics
  • Provide change adoption support to the Business Owner to ensure stakeholders are engaged.


What you’ll bring:

  • Project Management certification required (PRINCE2 or PMBOK)
  • A minimum of 10 years experience in complex, multi-functional ICT project delivery
  • Current or previous experience working within a structured Project Management environment
  • Expertise in ERP/WMS solutions
  • Experience in delivering multiple ERP and Warehouse implementations across large complex environments with multiple stakeholders Experience in leading diverse IT and Business teams to achieve project outcomes
  • Mastery in the application of project and change management practice
  • Mastery in the application of business analysis and solution design practices
  • Experience with agile development methodology
  • Demonstrate a functional acumen to support how solutions will address business goals while maintaining alignment with industry best practices
  • Ability to build strong and collaborative relationship with business stakeholders and vendors.
