Financial Reporting Accountant

An excellent opportunity has become available for a Financial Reporting Accountant on a permanent basis for our Macquarie Park office.  You will be a key contributor to Financial reporting and technical accounting across the business.  You will also be responsible for safeguarding integrity and ensuring efficient production of periodic reporting.

 

What you’ll do

 

  • Responsible for cost centre reporting including overseeing posting of standing journals, cross-pillar charges, variance analysis and presentation of reports to key stakeholders
  • Responsible for the accuracy and integrity of accounting information including month-end accounting journals and general ledger reconciliations
  • Key contributor to the half year and year end processes to prepare the consolidated financial statements, related analysis and Audit, Risk and Compliance Committee papers

 

What you’ll bring

 

  • Well-progressed in CA or nearing completion
  • Strong technical knowledge (AASB) and analytical abilities
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel and intermediate knowledge of other MS Office applications
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics or other large accounting systems will be considered an advantage
