About the Opportunity
Our Corporate Finance team plays a pivotal role in driving performance, enabling informed decision-making and delivering financial excellence across the Group. We’re now looking for an experienced Group FP&A Manager to partner closely with senior leaders, bring clarity to complexity, and turn numbers into meaningful commercial insight.
This is a high-impact role for a finance leader who combines a strong accounting foundation with sharp analytical capability, commercial curiosity, and a genuine willingness to roll up their sleeves to understand the detail behind the numbers.
As a key member of the Finance leadership team, you will lead Group-wide planning and performance processes, provide strategic insight to senior stakeholders, and act as a trusted business partner to the Total Tools Hardware Group and corporate cost centre owners.
You’ll own the Group’s long-range planning and forecasting rhythms, influence investment decisions, and continuously improve the way we plan, analyse and report financial performance.
In this Role
- Lead Group-wide financial planning and reporting, including the five-year plan, annual budgets, quarterly forecasts and monthly performance reporting across P&L, balance sheet and cash flows.
- Prepare Board and Executive strategy materials, delivering high-quality analysis, overlays, sensitivities and clear narratives on key performance drivers.
- Act as a trusted finance partner to the Total Tools Hardware Group and corporate cost centre owners, providing insight, challenge and guidance to drive performance and optimise costs.
- Partner with Corporate Accounting to ensure integrity, consistency and governance across actuals, budgets, forecasts and cost allocation methodologies.
- Lead continuous improvement of FP&A processes, systems and models (including TM1), driving automation, standardisation and higher-value analysis.
- Support strategic initiatives including Investment Committee submissions, M&A due diligence and major Group projects, providing robust commercial analysis and decision support.
You’re Likely a Match If
- CA or CPA qualification with deep experience across FP&A, management reporting and accounting.
- Background in retail, FMCG or supply chain-led environments.
- Strong ownership of planning and reporting systems (ideally TM1 and Power BI).
- Advanced financial modelling capability, including scenario analysis, cash flow modelling and investment appraisal.
- Proven experience influencing senior stakeholders and leading cross-functional deliverables.
- A track record of driving automation and process improvement in finance functions.
- Strong commercial acumen and the ability to distil complexity into clear insight.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including Executive-level presentations.
- A highly analytical mindset, attention to detail and ability to work with large, complex data sets.
- Strong relationship-building skills and the confidence to challenge constructively.
- Being self-driven, adaptable and effective in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
