About the Opportunity

We’re seeking a Head of P&C Business Partnering – Operations to lead strategic people initiatives across our national operations, including Food Mega Distribution Centres and State Operations (a workforce of 2,700). Reporting to the GM P&C – Food, you’ll partner closely with the EGM National Supply Chain and senior leaders, driving workforce strategy, cultural transformation, and leadership capability for our large and diverse frontline teams.

 

In this Role

  • Develop and implement strategic workforce plans across national operations and frontline populations
  • Lead organisational design and cultural transformation initiatives to support business strategy
  • Drive change management strategies for major operational shifts and enterprise agreements
  • Partner with senior leaders, acting as the trusted strategic P&C advisor for Supply Chain
  • Build leadership capability across all levels, from distribution centre through to executive
  • Coach, mentor, and guide Senior P&C Business Partners to drive impact and alignment
  • Strengthen talent pipelines, succession depth, and retention for critical operational roles
  • Collaborate across a matrix P&C structure to deliver group-aligned initiatives with local impact

 

You’re Likely a Match If

  • 10+ years of HR leadership experience in large, matrixed organisations (ideally logistics or operations)
  • Strong track record in workforce strategy, organisational development, and cultural transformation
  • Strong employee Relations experience, with demonstrated experience working in partnership with leaders and employees in complex, unionised or enterprise agreement (EA) environments.
  • Proven success embedding high-impact people strategies for large-scale frontline teams
  • Ability to navigate complexity and adapt to changing business contexts with confidence
  • Experience coaching and influencing senior leaders to elevate performance and accountability
  • Degree qualifications in HR, P&C, or a related discipline (preferred)
  • Passion for unlocking talent, driving engagement, and building a values-led performance culture
