About the Opportunity
We are currently recruiting a Micro Space Planner to help bring category strategies to life in store and support our independent retailers to perform at their best. This role plays a key part in delivering clear, data‑led planograms that optimise space productivity, enhance the shopper experience, and drive strong commercial outcomes.

In this Role
- Develop and maintain national and state‑based planograms that optimise product visibility, space productivity, and category performance
- Use consumer, category, and performance insights to identify opportunities that improve shelf productivity, shopper engagement, and sales outcomes
- Provide clear shelf analysis and actionable recommendations that support better space efficiency, customer experience, and retailer profitability
- Partner closely with Category Managers and key Vendor partners to deliver shopper‑focused, strategically aligned, and commercially effective planograms
- Ensure high levels of accuracy, data integrity, and version control across planogram and product systems
- Support category and space planning initiatives including range reviews, store resets, and continuous improvement activities
- Proactively identify and implement opportunities to improve planogram processes, tools, and ways of working
You’re Likely a Match If
- Demonstrated experience using shelf planning applications in a SaaS environment, including Store Clustering, Assortment Optimisation, Space Planning, and Planogram Automation (e.g. SymphonyAI / Blue Yonder)
- Ability to analyse space, range, and sales data to support commercially sound space and assortment decisions
- Strong understanding of retail merchandising and category strategy, and how these translate into effective shelf-level planograms
- Knowledge of retail environments, including store formats, layouts, shopper behaviour, and in-store execution considerations
- Broad category and product knowledge, including seasonal ranging and customer purchasing behaviour
- Strong stakeholder engagement, collaboration, and communication skills, with high attention to detail and a continuous improvement mindset
