About the Opportunity 

We have an exciting opportunity to join Metcash as an Operations Programs Delivery Manager. You will own and drive the successful delivery of national retailer programs and strategic projects. The Operations Programs Delivery Manager is accountable for end-to-end program management, ensuring alignment across states and functional teams, and embedding operational excellence through structured governance and execution.

 

In this Role 

  • Lead key retailer programs, including Channel Standards and CRM initiatives, ensuring timely delivery and continuous improvement.
  • Manage projects end-to-end—from scope development to execution—covering stakeholder engagement, risk management, and post-implementation review.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (Commercial, Merchandise, IT, Marketing) to align priorities and resolve issues.
  • Oversee retail initiatives such as pricing, range, and sales projects for strategic alignment and measurable outcomes.
  • Map processes, update SOPs, and create clear documentation and training guides for operational programs.
  • Identify process gaps and improvement opportunities, bridging customer needs with operational capabilities.

 

You’re Likely a Match If

  • Proven track record managing complex projects and multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong commercial acumen with excellent decision-making skills.
  • Experience in retail operations and /or retailer-specific projects.
  • Skilled in delivering projects on Microsoft platforms.
  • Ability to take ownership of programs and drive successful outcomes.
