About the Opportunity

Join Metcash as a Paid Media Specialist and play a key role in delivering effective social and paid media campaigns that enhance the visibility of IGA and our retail brands. In this role, you’ll manage and optimise campaigns to ensure maximum reach and engagement, while applying data-driven insights to achieve strong results.

In this Role

  • Plan, develop, and execute paid media campaigns across Meta and Google Ads platforms
  • Ensure campaigns are delivered accurately, on time, and comply with brand guidelines, best practices, and regulatory requirements
  • Monitor and analyse campaign performance, providing actionable recommendations to optimise results
  • Design and implement data-driven testing and research experiments to inform future strategies
  • Collaborate with internal teams on creative development and strategic planning for campaigns
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and evolve internal processes for agile campaign delivery
  • Prepare and maintain reporting dashboards to provide stakeholders with clear visibility of key performance metrics
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and share best practices with the team and stakeholders

 

You’re Likely a Match If  

  • 4+ years’ hands-on experience managing paid media campaigns across Meta and Google Ads
  • Proficiency in Google tools including GA4, Google Ads, Sheets, and Looker Studio, with a strong understanding of B2C acquisition metrics (leads, conversions, sales, ROAS)
  • Self-motivated with a proactive, results-driven approach and strong accountability
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to think strategically and creatively
  • High attention to detail and a passion for testing, optimisation, and continuous improvement
  • Growth mindset with a commitment to ongoing learning and staying ahead of industry trends
