Project Horizon is repositioning Metcash to be a modern, technology- led Wholesaler by transforming the way we do business by replacing multiple legacy ERP systems.  This role will be for a 24-month fixed term contract.

 

As a Process Specialist (also known as a Business Analyst) your role will provide deep end-to-end process understanding, while supporting the Process Owner with driving alignment & simplification. Under the direction of the Process Owner, the Process Specialist leverages their respective SME network to ensure our core processes are streamlined, efficient and effective.

 

What you'll do

  • Support the Technology team with the implementation of solutions including business requirements analysis, application functional testing, solution acceptance criteria, training, and documentation to achieve the strategic goals of the program.
  • Propose and validate any required workarounds for deployment, including identifying, documenting and contributing to the design and testing of transitional requirements (e.g. - RPA, Integrations, Manual process changes).
  • Assess and makes recommendations via the Process Owner for any required changes to design (exception only), e.g. – integrations, data mapping/ flows
  • Facilitate process reviews and demo sessions (showcasing) during Build and Blueprinting for deployments. (Solution advocates)
  • Identify Business processes and supporting applications that need to change to support strategic & digital transformation goals.
  • Drive data cleansing and process simplification to reduce the complexity of deployment.

 

What you'll bring

  • Demonstrated experience in process specialization within Retail/Wholesale environments.
  • Prior experience with BPM, IT implementations and business transformation projects.
  • Understanding of IT deployment & Change methodologies.
  • Ability to effectively communicate to technical and non-technical staff at level.
  • High level of competency with MS 365 tools.
  • Ability to identify Operational requirements
  • Ability to communicate at level to Business and Technology peers
