Regional Property Manager

About the Opportunity 
We have an exciting opportunity to join Metcash as a Regional Property Manager. In this role, you will proactively manage a lease portfolio of head leases and sub leases, across our industrial, retail and commercial sites. 
This role will manage leases across WA, SA, NT and Victoria region.

In this Role 
•    Ensure compliance of all contractual obligations, including payments, critical dates, rent reviews.
•    Optimise net income performance by implementing cost management strategies. 
•    Manage lease renewals and market rent reviews
•    Develop and manage multiple internal and external stakeholder relationships, and leveraging existing networking contacts
•    Identify and communicate competition activity to relevant steering committees 
•    Ensure lease documents are completed in line with business precedents and commercial guardrails

You’re Likely a Match If 
•    Minimum 5 years property management experience, with experience in commercial, industrial or retail leases highly regarded
•    Effective stakeholder and relationship management skills
•    Strong skills in general lease interpretation
•    Excellent communication, influencing and negotiation skills
•    Results focussed approach with strong commercial acumen 
•    Qualifications in Property, Estate Management or related discipline 
•    Knowledge of Retail Leases Act
