About the Opportunity

At Metcash, we’re transforming how brands connect with shoppers through Local Eyes — our Retail Media network built to deliver measurable commercial impact. We’re now looking for a commercially driven Retail Media Sales Manager to lead growth across our Hardware pillar, partnering with category teams and suppliers to unlock powerful omnichannel media opportunities.

This is not a traditional sales role. It’s a strategic commercial position where media, retail, data, and supplier partnerships intersect — and where your work directly influences revenue, innovation, and how Retail Media evolves within the hardware ecosystem.

 

In this Role, You Will:

  • Drive Hardware pillar revenue by delivering quarterly and annual sales targets through integrated omnichannel Retail Media solutions.
  • Grow supplier investment by designing tailored go-to-market opportunities and identifying new commercial revenue streams.
  • Act as the primary Retail Media commercial partner to Category and Merchandise teams, embedding media into supplier planning and trade strategies.
  • Lead supplier engagement through planning sessions, campaign reviews, and education initiatives that build capability and confidence.
  • Partner cross-functionally to optimise campaign delivery, support innovation projects, and strengthen media systems and measurement frameworks.
  • Develop high-trust relationships internally and externally while coaching team members and fostering a high-performance, collaborative culture.

 

You’ll bring:

  • 8+ years in media sales, shopper marketing, or commercial account leadership
  • Experience in Retail Media, FMCG, or supplier environments preferred
  • Track record partnering with senior stakeholders
  • People leadership or mentoring experience valued
