About the Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity to join Metcash as an Retail Operations Data Analyst known internally as Operations Excellence Reporting Lead.  The Operations Excellence Reporting Lead will oversee and co-ordinate operational data & insights to support the continuous improvement, reporting and analysis of the CRM tool. Maintain and update ongoing channel standard reporting, dashboards and governance framework as well as govern the retailer facing reporting/dashboards.

In this Role 

• Proactively work with stakeholders to identify the opportunities from the data produced via the CRM tool to enable the business to make decisions based on ROI for resource allocation.
• Lead and coordinate stakeholders to deliver project work streams associated with Channel Standards in line with project and change deliverables.
• Design and develop dashboard reporting highlighting insights as determined via business requirements/needs
• Ensure that changes and updates are communicated and delivered to retailers, supported by the state and other functional teams within the business.
• Manage governance reporting and relevant dashboards via Power Bi for internal and external (Steer Co)
• Demonstrate the application of standards, methodologies and practice through business analysis, design, project execution and change management.
• Quickly identify project / program change risks and align mitigation plans to minimize poor adoption

You’re Likely a Match If

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in data and insights and the ability to translate insights into tangible outcomes.
• Knowledge and experience in Power BI and Salesforce would be desirable
• Strong skills with Microsoft Office tools including Excel, Word, PowerPoint
• Structured, well organised and have an ability to effectively communicate across all levels of our business
• Strong commercial acumen to enable input into key projects & business decision making
• Be credible with the ability to influence and gain stakeholder buy-in
• Advanced written and verbal communication skills
