Job Description

In this role you will be responsible for working with a range of stakeholders across all levels of the business to aid their strategies through the coordination, development, and management of effective communications for the independent retailer network.

You will manage the current retailer portal and assist with the build of the future Retailer One Stop Shop and on top of that you will be joining a very fun and hardworking team.


What you’ll do

  • Collaborate with a range of stakeholders (state, national, internal, retailer and supplier) and other departments (e.g. marketing, promotions, merchandise, operations etc.) to support their strategies through communications
  • Manage retailer communications inbox including checking throughout the day, clearing backlog, assisting retailers with any queries and prioritising action items
  • Coordinate planning, production, and delivery of relevant communications to retailers in a timely manner (day-to-day management as well as weekly, monthly and adhoc requests)
  • Conduct regular reviews of all retailer touchpoints (e.g. existing retailer portal, future Retailer One Stop Shop, user databases etc) to ensure all materials are accurate and up to date
  • Support the retailer, supplier and internal events where required
  • Organise and coordinate communications meetings (set up, invites, presentations, recording minutes & actions, follow ups) and assist with preparing weekly and monthly reports
  • Support in all aspects of Retailer One Stop Shop to enable the retailer engagement process to be enhanced and future proofed (e.g. requirements gathering, development, communications governance and guardrails, national & state compliance, change management etc)


What you’ll bring

  • A degree in communications, marketing or similar
  • Proven experience in a similar capacity (FMCG highly regarded)
  • Experience working with Content Management Systems, Microsoft Office suite, Adobe Photoshop, MailChimp or similar, Salesforce and Google Analytics highly desirable
  • Exceptionally strong verbal and written communication, editing and copywriting skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a high-pressure, fast-moving work environment
