About the Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity to join Metcash as a Senior Business Analyst within our IT Corporate Platforms team. This team is the primary interface between IT and the business and manages communication to the business community of users and working with business units to drive IT strategy.
This position will work predominantly with the People & Culture and Finance Corporate teams to ensure solutions that are delivered align with business strategy and objectives.
In this Role
- Develop effective relationships with various stakeholder groups to ensure the successful implementation of IT solutions.
- Work closely with various stakeholder groups to understand their business process and information needs to formalise business requirements for existing and new IT solutions.
- Lead requirements and use case definition
- Facilitate user adoption of agreed solutions
- Facilitate workshops as required including but not limited to business processes business requirements, functional and solution design
- Design and capture as-is and to-be business processes
- Define, analyse and document business requirements, user stories, business rules and acceptance test criteria
- Perform capability analysis of identified solutions
- Manage changes to solution scope and provide impact assessment
- Identifying any risks/issues that will affect the ability to deliver the solution or impact the business.
You’re Likely a Match If
- At least 5 years experience in IT environments.
- Strong analysis skills with the ability to translate business needs into specifications (requirements, business cases etc.).
- Proactive, able to anticipate and identify potential issues and have a proven track record in problem solving and analysis.
- Strong verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
- Business process analysis experience.
- Experience with agile development methodology
- Demonstrated experience in facilitation of workshops or presentations.
- Demonstrated experience and understanding of conceptual systems design.
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 experience
- Basic data analysis, SQL skills and/or Business analysis qualifications are highly regarded
