About the Opportunity

As a Senior Employee Relations Advisor, you will provide specialist ER expertise to leaders across all Metcash sites, partnering with them to manage and resolve complex employee relations matters.
This role can be based at our Macquarie Park (Sydney) or Crestmead (Brisbane) offices. 

In this Role 

•    Manage complex employee relations cases end to end, including performance, misconduct, grievances and investigations. 
•    Coach and support leaders to build confidence and capability in managing ER matters. 
•    Provide practical, compliant advice aligned to legislation, industrial instruments and policy. 
•    Assess risk and escalate complex issues, including tribunal preparation and representation. 
•    Identify trends and improvement opportunities to reduce future ER issues. 
•    Contribute to ER frameworks, tools and projects across the business.

What are we looking for?

•    Experience in an Employee Relations or similar advisory role 
•    Proven ability to manage complex, end to end ER cases (performance, misconduct, absence and investigations) 
•    Strong negotiation and influencing skills 
•    Ability to coach and support leaders on ER matters 
•    Experience influencing stakeholders at all levels and building strong working relationships
