About the Opportunity

Reporting into the Senior FP & A Manager, the Senior FP&A Analyst delivers high impact financial insights and forward-looking analysis. The successful individual will drive commercial performance across the ALM pillar, while strengthening financial processes and reporting to support faster, better decision making. This is a full-time, permanent role based at the Macquarie Park office, with three days per week onsite. 

 

In this Role

  • Identify EBIT/Gross Revenue ratio improvement opportunities, including cost savings and revenue mix optimisation. 
  • In conjunction with Senior FP&A Manager partner and cross functional partners assist in modelling and developing longer term strategic objectives 
  • Review YTD performance and provide YTG recommendations at state and customer level based on risks and opportunities. 
  • Partner with State teams to update forecasts with future costs in line with latest performance. 
  • Analyse and provide insights on sales variances to budget/forecast, highlighting customer under/overperformance and risks. 
  • Analyse rebate variances, including product and supplier mix impacts. 
  • Provide insights and recommendations for cost of sales over/underspend and identify ongoing risks or opportunities. 
  • Consolidate state balance sheets, review variances, and provide visibility of key movements. 
  • Prepare QBR decks and monthly performance insights. 

 

You’re Likely a Match If

  • Proven FP&A experience within an FMCG Company – Liquor Industry advantageous 
  • Demonstrated experience of leading budgeting and forecasting including the ability to challenge and influence outcomes 
  • Strong level of business partnering with Senior Management 
  • Strong understanding of financial processes & P&L (Dr/Cr, BS, cashflow) 
  • Power BI experience desirable
