About the Opportunity

We’re currently looking for a Senior Finance Manager – FP&A to join Metcash, based in Macquarie Park and reporting to the Head of Finance.

This is a great opportunity to step into a commercially focused role where you’ll lead a small team of three and take ownership of end-to-end financial planning, including budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and monthly flash reporting. You’ll work closely with stakeholders to translate both financial and non-financial data into clear insights that support business performance.

You’ll also play a key role in strengthening our reporting capability, driving improvements across TM1 and Power BI, and delivering dashboards that enable more informed decision making across the business.

In this Role

• Deliver insight-driven analysis to support supply chain and logistics performance
• Own the logistics cost base, systems and models, including budget inputs and cost consolidation
• Prepare and manage Flash reporting packs and act as a key liaison with Group FP&A
• Lead the quarterly forecasting process (QBR) and manage ongoing forecast updates
• Coordinate the end to end budgeting process across FP&A and key stakeholders, including sales and logistics budgets
• Enhance reporting, dashboards and financial models using TM1 and Power BI

You’re Likely a Match If

• 10+ years’ experience across accounting, financial control and/or FP&A
• Tertiary qualification in Accounting (or related discipline), with CPA or CA accreditation
• Advanced Excel skills, with strong financial modelling and systems capability
• Experience with planning and reporting tools such as TM1 and Power BI (Power Query/PowerPivot advantageous)
• Background in retail, FMCG or supply chain environments will be highly regarded
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams and deliver outcomes across cross-functional stakeholder groups
