Excellent opportunity for a Senior Financial Reporting Accountant who will lead the Financial reporting and technical accounting responsibilities.  You will be the Finance team lead for all deliverables to the Audit Risk and Compliance Committee and safeguard integrity and ensure efficient production of periodic reporting.


What you’ll do


  • Lead the half year and year end processes to prepare the consolidated financial statements, related analysis and Audit, Risk and Compliance Committee papers
  • Lead the preparation of monthly consolidated balance sheet and cash flow statement
  • Key technical accounting person for AASB16, including the preparation of the Group’s AASB16 Lease accounting, including liaison with property, service providers and auditors and subsequent reporting and analysis
  • Identify, design and implement process improvements – including the design and review of GL account reconciliations


What you’ll bring


  • Must be CA qualified
  • Strong technical knowledge (AASB) and analytical abilities
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel and intermediate knowledge of other MS Office applications
  • FMCG & experience with Microsoft Dynamics or other large accounting systems will be considered an advantage
