About the Opportunity

 

We’re seeking a highly skilled Senior PMO Analyst based in Macquarie Park on a fixed term 12-month contract with a view for possible extension.

This role will be pivotal in driving governance, control, and delivery excellence across the full lifecycle of PMO operations within a fast-paced and complex program environment. This is a high impact role that will perform key PMO responsibilities across risk and issue management, coordination of key forums, program scheduling and reporting, tools and templates management, and managing adherence to established PMO processes and standards.

You’ll work closely with the PMO Lead and engage with a wide range of stakeholders across a large-scale, dynamic program. Your ability to influence, collaborate, and drive outcomes will be key to the success of Program Horizon.

 

In this Role

 

  • Support the management of key PMO controls and standards across governance and reporting, risks, issues, decisions and change control
  • Drive the planning and coordination of key program governance forums, and contribute to the development of high-quality status reports and pre-read materials
  • Build strong engagement with stakeholders at all levels to support, guide and coach on program governance and controls processes, tools and standards.
  • Create and maintain high quality PMO Reports & Dashboards to support timely and key decision making, leveraging tools such as Power BI (PBI) to deliver insights and supporting narrative.
  • Support the build and maintenance of program plans and trackers in MS Project; Azure DevOps; and PBI.
  • Champion improved processes and practices across the Program – provide coaching and capability uplift to teams, and identify improvement opportunities in line with best practice PMO methods promoting automation and standardisation etc.
  • Provide support to PMO Lead on specific projects and initiatives.

 

You’re Likely a Match If

 

  • Minimum 4-5 years in a program level PMO function delivering a major ERP / IT Transformation change with demonstrated experience in driving governance and controls standards.
  • Relevant PM qualification and/or strong working knowledge of project management methodologies and frameworks (PMP, Prince2, Agile, or equivalent).
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office 365 (especially Excel, PowerPoint); collaboration tools such as SharePoint, MS Teams; and schedule management tools (MS Project, Azure DevOps).
  • Strong reporting capabilities with experience in using Power BI to build insightful, high-quality dashboards and reports.
  • Project planning/scheduling experience.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment; can prioritise with minimal guidance; takes clear ownership and can demonstrate a strong problem-solving mindset with a continuous improvement orientation.
  • Excellent communications skills (written and verbal) and can engage and align stakeholders across a large program team.
