About the Opportunity
As a Trade Marketing Specialist, you’ll be the mastermind behind our go-to-market strategies for New Product Development and priority brands. In this exciting role, you will partner with our Brand and Portfolio Manager to develop and execute innovative activation plans that spark sales growth and drive retailer and consumer engagement.

In this Role
- Help maintain an exciting and relevant brand portfolio that meets the needs of both shoppers and retailers across the ALM network.
- Support category and channel strategies by managing the promotional calendar, ensuring effective use of product ranges and promotional activities.
- Assist in developing the G3 Go-To-Market strategy for new product launches (NPD), ensuring alignment with broader business objectives.
- Plan and execute campaigns, promotions, and initiatives aimed at influencing both trade and retail partners to drive growth.
- Track and evaluate the effectiveness of trade marketing programs, making adjustments as needed to optimise performance.
- Manage the IBP trade marketing budget, ensuring all activities stay within budget and deliver strong return of investment.
- Collaborate with the IBA Studio team and third-party agencies to create and supply creative assets for internal teams, external stakeholders, and consumers.
- Bring fresh ideas to existing brands, keeping the portfolio dynamic, exciting, and aligned with current market trends.
- Organise and oversee key events and Public Relation communications, from trade events to product launches, ensuring maximum brand exposure.
- Develop and maintain digital and social media assets for Independent Beverage Partners keeping the content fresh and engaging.
You’re Likely a Match If
- 5+ years of experience in trade marketing, retail, or brand marketing, preferably within the retail, FMCG, or liquor industries.
- Proven success in taking new products to market and driving their growth.
- Strong financial and business acumen, with the ability to manage and optimise trade marketing budgets effectively.
- Creative and innovative thinking, combined with the ability to execute ideas in a practical and efficient manner.
- Excellent project management skills to handle multiple tasks and timelines.
- Strong ability to analyse data, recognise trends, and turn insights into action.
- Influential communication skills, with a natural ability to build rapport and collaborate with internal teams to drive successful execution.
