About the Opportunity

Fantastic opportunity for a Trading Compliance Manager on a full time basis, who will partner with Legal and Risk & Assurance team to develop and implement compliance solutions relevant to proprietary Merchandise functions.

 

The Trading Compliance Manager is also responsible for creating and working with Subject Matter Experts to implement frameworks and policies to ensure compliance and reporting obligations to government requirements are adhered with the Merchandise function.

 

The Trading Compliance Manager offers flexibility in location, with the option to be based in Huntingwood, Crestmead, or Laverton.

 

In this Role

  • Monitor, apply and interpret legislative changes impacting operational execution
  • Assisting in the gathering of information internally in response to requests by regulatory organisations such as the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission
  • Development of knowledge articles and process documentation based on new legislative changes, findings and feedback
  • Collaborate with corporate Legal and Risk & Assurance teams to monitor enforcement of standards and regulations

You’re Likely a Match If

  • Bachelor degree in a relevant business field
  • A business acumen partnered with a dedication to compliance, safety & legality
  • Preference for candidates with a background in law, Government services or internal audit
  • In-depth knowledge of the industry standards and regulations relevant to food, retail and wholesale environments
  • Excellent knowledge of reporting procedures and record keeping
  • Methodical and diligent with outstanding planning abilities
  • An analytical mind able to “see” the complexities of procedures and regulations
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
