About the Opportunity
We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Trading Terms Accountant on a 12mth FTC, to join our Corporate team at Macquarie Park (NSW). This role will be responsible for maintaining a central register of Trading Terms agreements/commitments for all suppliers across the food Pillar of Metcash. This role will provide data analysis and reporting to ensure all terms are accurate, and secure. This role works in a fast-paced environment where accuracy is essential
In this Role
- Review and analyse existing and new/proposed terms, compare versus current terms, category average and identify risks and opportunities. Communicate findings to key stakeholders.
- Load approved Trading Term Agreements into all relevant systems.
- Generate reports and data from systems to analyse and complete Supplier account reconciliations where required and raise necessary back claims providing supporting documentation.
- Create and maintain vendor master details including payment cycles, bank details and buy period, action Supplier change of ownership and vendor deletion.
- Complete Supplier in liquidation, administration & receivership reconciliations and raise necessary supporting documentation for outcome.
You’re Likely a Match If
- Advanced knowledge of Salesforce and Microsoft Excel
- High level of numeric accuracy, attention to detail and ability to prioritise
- Analytical and investigative skills
- Relevant qualification in Finance, Commerce, Accounting, Business degree/background (desirable)
