Trade Yard Team Member - Millicent

A fantastic opportunity has become available for an enthusiastic and motivated Trade Yard Team Member to join our team at our Millicent store.

This is a full-time position on a 7 day rotating roster

The Role

What you will be doing

• Physical work with some heavy lifting required
• Loading & unloading of trucks
• Stock control ensuring all deliveries are accurate and checked as per company policy
• Ensuring the health and safety of all fellow staff, customers and contractors within their department
• Serving customers in the yard, helping them with their orders, and providing them with fast, efficient service
• Picking orders to be sent out on delivery trucks
• Putting away stock, mainly timber and associated products
• Supporting with home and site deliveries

What you will bring

• Demonstrate a strong customer focus and ability to work in a team environment 
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Prioritise workload to effectively meet deadlines
• Must be physically fit and able to be on your feet all day
• An eye for detail and a sense of urgency
• Ability to be available to work across a 7 day rotating roster 
• Forklift Licence and MR Truck Licence not essential but highly advantageous
