In this role, you’ll be the driving force behind building, nurturing, and growing our trade partnerships. Your goal? To deliver results that wow and create long-lasting connections that keep our business buzzing.
Hudson Mitre 10 Group, is seeking an experienced Trades Account Manager to join and help lead its expanding trade division. With our sights on growth, this is an exciting opportunity to contribute to this thriving company. This role will service ACT and be based in the Mitchell office.
Lets talk About you
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with trade customers, including builders, contractors, and construction professionals.
- Promote the company's large range of timber and hardware products, providing expert advice and solutions to meet customers' needs.
- Identify new business opportunities and establish a strong presence
- Achieve sales targets and contribute to the growth of the trade division.
- Collaborate with the trade team and other departments to ensure efficient order processing, timely deliveries, and exceptional customer service.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to provide valuable insights and recommendations.
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations, quotes, and proposals to prospective and existing customers.
- Provide accurate and timely sales reports and forecasts to the management team.
You are likely to be a match if you have:
- Experience in trade sales, preferably within the timber and hardware industry.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and building strong customer relationships.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence a diverse customer base.
- Sound product knowledge and the ability to provide technical advice and recommendations.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills, with the ability to drive sales opportunities to completion.
- Self-motivated and results-driven, with a proactive approach to identifying and pursuing business opportunities.
- Familiarity with CRM software and other sales tools.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
