We’re looking for a driven and commercially savvy Trade Account Manager to join the team and play a key role in expanding our trade division.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for building your territory from the ground up - identifying new opportunities, securing new customers, and turning them into long-term, loyal partners. You’ll be at the heart of our growth, creating connections that last and delivering results that truly make a difference.

You’re someone who knows how to build trust and turn conversations into commercial opportunities. You’re proactive, hands-on, and motivated by results.
In this role, you will:
- Build and nurture strong relationships with builders, contractors, and trade professionals
- Actively identify and secure new business opportunities across your territory
- Promote a broad range of timber and hardware products, offering tailored solutions to customers
- Grow your customer base from scratch and convert leads into long-term partnerships
- Achieve sales targets and contribute to the continued growth of the trade division
- Work collaboratively with internal teams to deliver a seamless customer experience
- Stay across industry trends, market activity, and competitor movements
- Prepare and deliver engaging presentations, quotes, and proposals
- Provide regular sales updates, forecasts, and insights to leadership
You’ll Be a Great Fit If You:
- Have experience in trade sales, ideally within timber, hardware, or building materials
- Have a proven ability to build new business and grow accounts from the ground up
- Are confident, relationship-driven, and thrive on creating meaningful connections
- Bring strong communication and influencing skills across a diverse customer base
- Have solid product knowledge or the ability to quickly build technical expertise
- Are commercially minded with strong negotiation and closing skills
- Are self-motivated, results-driven, and proactive in pursuing opportunities
- Are comfortable using CRM systems and sales tools
- Hold a valid driver’s licence and are happy to travel within your territory
