Truck Driver

About the role 

A great opportunity has arisen in our Hudson Mitre 10 Trade Centre business for a Truck Driver to cover the ACT region. This is a full time, Monday to Friday role working a 38-hour week starting anytime between 6 – 8am.

The team member will provide excellent customer service, must be motivated, and be relied upon to work in an unsupervised environment. They will need to hold a current HR Truck License and a Hiab ticket.

What you will be doing

• Delivery goods to our customers in the ACT region (occasional hand unloads)
• Ensuring the health and safety of all fellow staff, customers and contractors
• Provide accurate deliveries on time, with a high focus on customer service
• Be relied upon to represent the company in a professional manner

What you will bring

• Hold a valid car license
• Hold a current HR Truck License – essential
• Hold a Hiab ticket - essential

• Forklift License (an advantage)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Must be physically fit (some heavy liftings require)
• Able to deliver to building sites in surrounding areas
