About the Role

Sapphire Mitre 10 Narooma is looking for an outgoing and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Casual Retail Sales Assistant.

This role is ideal for someone enthusiastic, motivated, and detail-oriented, with a passion for continuous improvement. You’ll work closely with both team members and customers, building strong, long-term relationships while delivering exceptional service.

This is a casual position operating across a 7-day rotating roster, with the potential to transition into a permanent part-time role in the future.


What You’ll Be Doing

  • Welcoming and assisting customers at the front counter

  • Processing sales through our POS system

  • Responding to phone enquiries and supporting click-and-collect orders

  • Maintaining a neat, organised, and well-stocked front-of-store area

  • Collaborating with a close-knit team to deliver outstanding customer service


What You’ll Bring

  • Strong computer skills and excellent attention to detail

  • Clear and confident communication skills (written and verbal)

  • A positive, team-oriented attitude

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced retail environment

  • A genuine passion for delivering exceptional customer service

  • A forklift licence (highly desirable)

  • Experience in the hardware industry (well regarded)
