About the Opportunity
At Metcash, we’re excited to announce that we will be hiring Storeworkers / Forklift Driver to join our Nerang site on a casual position (Monday-Friday) with a view to permanency in the future!

As a Storeperson / Forklift driver, you will play a key role in managing stock efficiently and supporting our operations. The casual position will focus on organising stock, picking orders, and ensuring smooth operations for the best possible customer experience. The position involves approximately 80% warehouse floor work ad 20% forklift operations.The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, have great attention to detail, and be committed to providing high-quality products and exceptional customer service. In this Role 

• Receive, unload and accurantely process incoming stock deliveries
• Put away stock in designated warehouse locations
• Operate forklift safely for loading, unloading and stock movements 
• Pick, pack and prepare orders as required
• Maintain warehouse shelving and storage areas to ensure stock is organised and accessible 
• Follow all workplace health and safety procedures

What are we looking for? 

• Current LF forklift licence 
• Previous experience in a store or warehouse environment is preferred
• A strong customer service background
• Good communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with the store team
• A keen eye for detail and commitment to accuracy in all tasks
