About the Opportunity

This is a senior commercial leadership role with real impact, owning national account performance and helping transform our food service offering. You’ll lead a team and influence across a complex matrix to deliver sustainable, profitable growth. Success requires a progressive, analytical mindset, strong procurement and commercial acumen, and disciplined execution grounded in commercial discipline. If you thrive on building customer strategy, negotiating outcomes and converting complex opportunities, including tenders, into long‑term wins, this role is for you.

 

What you’ll do

  • Lead and develop a high‑performing team - coach, performance‑manage and build capability across account managers, with clear succession, strong engagement and a safety‑first culture.
  • Own customer strategy and relationships - set strategic account direction, lead business reviews, use data‑driven insight to anticipate needs, and resolve issues decisively.
  • Deliver profitable, sustainable growth - own account P&L, negotiate trading terms, pricing and promotional investment, lead key account tenders, and unlock aligned growth opportunities.
  • Execute with discipline and governance - forecast accurately, manage pipeline, partner cross‑functionally, and embed strong commercial discipline and compliance across WHS, CoR, HACCP and Code of Conduct.

 

What you’ll bring

  • Proven people leader - experience building high‑performing teams through clear expectations, coaching and accountability.
  • Strong commercial and procurement acumen - demonstrated P&L ownership across revenue, margin and trade spend, with a sharp understanding of value and cost drivers.
  • Analytical, insight‑led operator - high attention to detail with the ability to turn data into clear insights and influence senior decision‑making.
  • Commercial deal‑maker with operational credibility - A strong track record in complex tenders and negotiations, partnered with confidence working across operations, supply chain and matrixed environments.
