About the Opportunity

The General Manager QSR - Operations and Sales is responsible for leading and optimising a national portfolio of major Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) customers valued at approximately $400m. This role is heavily focused on strategic contract management, senior relationship ownership, and operational performance rather than traditional sales execution.

The role ensures long-term, profitable partnerships with large multi-site QSR brands while balancing growth ambitions with operational capability, particularly across warehousing, freight, and service delivery.

In this Role

  • Own executive-level relationships with national QSR customers, acting as the primary commercial and operational interface.
  • Lead national account strategies aligned to QSR operating models, franchise structures, and multi-site requirements.
  • Lead negotiation, renewal, and governance of complex QSR contracts, including pricing, rebates, service levels, and volume commitments.
  • Manage and respond to national QSR tenders, RFQs, and network reviews.
  • Develop pricing and commercial frameworks that provide sustainable margin while supporting QSR competitiveness.
  • Deliver revenue growth, EBIT, and margin targets across the QSR portfolio.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a national team of Account Managers and administrative support focused on QSR customers.
  • Partner closely with Operations, Supply Chain, Warehousing, Purchasing and Finance to align QSR customer requirements with internal capability.
  • Develop and execute national QSR growth strategies in partnership with Sales, Marketing, and Operations.

 

You’re Likely a Match If  

  • Proven experience in a senior leadership role, ideally within Retail or FMCG with a focus on supply chain and planning
  • Strong leadership skills with a track record of mentoring and developing teams to achieve operational success
  • Skilled in negotiation, influence, and effective communication at all levels
  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building across locations
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for optimal inventory management in a fast-paced environment
  • Expertise in supplier management, including onboarding, relationship management, and performance optimisation
