About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Warehouse and Operations Manager – Full time Permanent to lead our warehouse operations in Oakleigh South, Victoria. Reporting to the General Manager, you will manage day-to-day warehouse activities, oversee staff performance, and ensure compliance with HACCP and OH&S standards. Your leadership will drive productivity, accuracy, and premium customer service through DIFOT.

In this Role

You will be leading a team responsible for, but not  limited to:

  • Lead by example in safety practices, setting clear standards, expectations, and fostering a strong safety culture in line with OH&S requirements.
  • Optimize picking operations to ensure high pick rates and order accuracy across all shifts.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records through regular audits, cycle counts, and system updates.
  • Streamline the receipting and putaway process to ensure goods are efficiently logged, inspected, and stored upon arrival.
  • Ensure end-to-end order fulfillment excellence , from picking and packing to dispatch, meeting customer expectations and service level agreements.
  • Uphold facility compliance with HACCP standards and Occupational Health & Safety regulations, particularly in food handling or temperature-controlled environments.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure seamless shift handovers and consistent workflow across departments.
  • Drive team performance through engagement, motivation, feedback, and recognition of achievements.
  • Invest in team development through structured training programs, coaching, and long-term career growth opportunities.
  • Continuously improve warehouse operations by evaluating current processes, identifying inefficiencies, and implementing innovative solutions to enhance productivity and efficiency.
  • Coordinate rostering and payroll accuracy for all shifts

 

You’re Likely a Match If

  • Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role within food services, FMCG, or related industry.
  • Strong operational expertise in fast-paced warehouse environments.
  • Knowledge of HACCP and OH&S compliance.
  • Proven ability to manage budgets and achieve KPIs.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills.
  • Must be a problem solver.
  • Diploma or Certificate in Supply Chain Logistics or Degree in Business is added advantage
