About the role
Pambula Mitre 10 are currently seeking an outgoing and customer focused individual to join the team. The is a generalist position with a wide range of tasks including but not limited to; working in the trade yard and trade counter.
The successful candidate will be offered a full time position working across a Monday to Friday roster with the occasional Saturday shift. They will provide excellent customer service, must be motivated, and be relied upon to work in an unsupervised environment.
What you will be doing
- Ensuring the health and safety of all fellow staff, customers and contractors
- Provide friendly and accurate service to our Trade customers
- Complete sales by utilising our Point of Sale System
- Ensure stock control is managed within your area of the business, whether that be via day-to-day practices or participating in stocktakes
- Picking orders to be sent out on delivery trucks
- Putting away stock in line with our merchandising standards, mainly timber and associated products
What you will bring
- emonstrated strong customer service experience
- Previous building or trade experience preferred but not required; we are happy to train the right person
- The ability to work in a team environment and unsupervised
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to prioritise workload to effectively meet deadlines
- You must be physically fit and able to be on your feet all day
- An eye for detail and a sense of urgency
- A forklift licence but would be advantageous but not essential
