Sales Support

About the role:

Do you enjoy a balance of office work and hands-on operations servicing customers?

The Tait Mitre 10 team is on the lookout for a reliable and flexible team player to join us as a Trade Sales Support on a full-time basis, based in our Clayton trade centre.

This role operates a full time hours across Monday to Friday. You’ll be supporting the Branch Manager and the Trade Sales team with a variety of tasks, from responding to phone enquiries, organising deliveries, processing customer orders, and preparing quotes.

What you will be doing:

• Entering data for customer accounts
• Responding to customer enquiries and taking special orders
• Preparing accurate quotes and organising delivery schedules
• Engaging customers on the phone or via email to drive sales
• Managing daily administrative tasks for Sales representatives
• Providing in-store customer assistance when required

What you will bring:

• A strong work ethic and a “can-do” attitude
• Excellent communication skills and a team-first mindset
• Confidence using Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook and Excel
• Timber and hardware knowledge is an advantage but not essential
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work with a sense of urgency
