About the Opportunity 
Fantastic opportunity to join ALM as a Warehouse Branch Manager, overseeing operations across our Cairns and Townsville regional warehouse sites.
This leadership role is responsible for driving performance across key areas including safety, service, people management, cost control, and the delivery of operational targets within our liquor distribution network.
A key focus will be on building team capability—providing development opportunities and fostering consistency in execution across both locations to ensure a high-performing, engaged workforce. The role can be based in either Cairns or Townsville.
    
In this Role 
•    Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure consistency, efficiency, and quality across both sites
•    Lead, inspire, and develop branch teams in Cairns and Townsville to achieve individual, team, and business objectives
•    Manage budgets and monitor financial performance to ensure targets are met and cost efficiencies are achieved
•    Foster strong, collaborative relationships with key clients and internal stakeholders to support business growth and service excellence
•    Champion a safety-first culture and ensure full compliance with all health and safety regulations across both locations
•    Maintain regular on-site presence at both branches to provide hands-on leadership, oversight, and support

 

You’re Likely a Match If 
•    5+ years of leadership experience in warehouse or logistics operations
•    Proven track record in managing end-to-end operational functions across multiple sites
•    Strong understanding of industrial relations, including Enterprise Agreements and union engagement
•    Solid knowledge of Workplace Health & Safety regulations and food-grade compliance standards
•    Demonstrates a proactive mindset with a strong drive to challenge the status quo and improve processes
•    Takes ownership and accountability, consistently delivering logical, methodical, and solution-oriented outcomes
