We are seeking an experienced and proven sales and relationship manager to join our team as a Key Account Manager. You will be responsible for directly managing and developing a strategic portfolio of customers. With the focus on building sustainable relationships with existing customers and growing revenue through extension of business with current customer base and new business opportunities.

 

Reporting to the National Sales Manager the Key Account Manager will provide account management across the strategic major residential home builder account group.

 

This position will require the ability to negotiate, build business partnering relationships with various stakeholders across the account base and to play an active role internally as a member of the Hardings team.

 

The key areas of accountability include:

  • Safety being part of our everyday culture
  • Development and implementation of trade sales plans and initiatives
  • Effective management of a diverse Builder centric customer base
  • Analysis of sales and customer data to identify new opportunities
  • The ability to attract new customers in addition to growing existing business
  • Achievement of sales, margin and product mix targets

 

To be considered for this role you will meet the following criteria: 

  • A sound business acumen with the ability to understand relevant financials
  • Excellent negotiation and presentation skills are essential
  • Previous experience in a similar sales/account management role preferred
  • A comprehensive understanding of the market with previous experience in selling bathroom and appliances products is desirable
  • A strong ability to develop and maintain B2B relationships and influence decision-making

 

You will be an enthusiastic self-starter with proven results in driving sales growth in a target driven environment.

 

A high level of verbal and written communications, great presentation skills and it is also a requirement that you are confident working independently as well as proactively within a team environment.

 

The right candidate can look forward to a competitive salary package which will be negotiated based on experience. The base package includes a tool-of-trade vehicle and the potential to earn additional incentives based on performance.
