About the Opportunity

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Safety & Quality Coordinator to oversee occupational health and safety, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance across our operations in Reservoir, Victoria. Reporting to the Assistant General Manager, you will play a key role in maintaining high standards and promoting a culture of safety and quality.

In this Role

• Maintain and implement occupational safety and health systems, including risk assessments and emergency preparedness.
• Monitor and uphold quality standards across meat processing, packaging, and distribution.
• Coordinate HACCP documentation, audits, and compliance with Prime Safe, FSANZ, HALAL, and DAFF requirements.
• Investigate accidents and near misses to determine root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain training and licence registers and support return-to-work programs.
• Lead internal and external audits and liaise with compliance teams.
• Support ESG reporting and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Train staff on safety, hygiene, and quality practices.
• Other administrative tasks as required      

You’re Likely a Match If

• Cert IV in OH&S and HACCP accreditation.
• Experience in food processing and regulatory compliance.
• Strong knowledge of safety, quality systems, and ESG reporting.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and attention to detail.
