About the Opportunity

As a State Key Account Manager – Food Service & Convenience (FS&C) is responsible for managing and growing strategic state-based customers across the foodservice and convenience channels. This role leads customer engagement, executes national strategies at a state level, and drives sales, distribution, and execution excellence through strong collaboration with the channel team, operations team, and the field sales team.

In this Role

  • You will manage state-level relationships with FS&C customers including foodservice groups, wholesalers, and convenience banner groups.
  • Deliver revenue, volume, margin, and distribution targets across assigned accounts.
  • Manage convenience and foodservice groups / banner groups, driving channel plans through our customer partners.
  • Monitor state-level trends, shopper behaviour, and competitive activity to inform strategy.
  • Work closely with National Key Account Managers to ensure consistency in customer terms, pricing, and communication.
  • Partner with Marketing, Category, Supply Chain, and Finance to deliver end to end customer solutions.
  • Monitor key KPIs including DIFOT, stock levels, promotional execution, and territory coverage.

 

You’re Likely a Match If

  • You have 3+ years’ experience in key account management or sales roles within FS&C, FMCG, or food/beverage industries.
  • Experience working with distributors, wholesalers, or convenience retailers (highly desirable).
  • Demonstrated success in customer management, key account growth, and execution delivery.
  • Detailed contractual and trading term experience.
  • High commercial acumen including P&L analysis (desirable).
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel.
  • Proficient in CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and sales reporting tools.
  • Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel across the state.
