Join Hudson Trade as a Regional Sales Manager – Lead the Sales Growth in NSW/ACT South!

Are you a seasoned sales leader with a passion for mentoring, coaching, and driving business growth? Hudson Trade is looking for an NSW/ACT South Regional Sales Manager to oversee and support a dynamic team of Trade Account Managers. In this pivotal role, you’ll lead the charge in capitalizing on sales opportunities, executing strategic growth initiatives, and establishing Hudson Trade as the supplier of choice in the building and renovation markets across ACT & Southern NSW.

As a Regional Sales Manager, you will guide, coach, and develop your team to reach their full potential while ensuring the continued success of the business’s sales strategies. Your leadership will directly contribute to fostering positive customer relationships, driving new business opportunities, and overseeing contract pricing to maintain competitiveness in the market.

  • Team Support & Leadership: Coach and mentor Trade Account Managers to meet sales and profitability targets, developing growth opportunities and focusing on key areas.
  • Strategic Planning: Create and execute account plans, ensuring alignment with the “whole of house” strategy and driving growth across the territory.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Maintain and build relationships with existing customers and proactively engage with new business opportunities to grow the customer base.
  • Market Insights & Ranging: Identify market opportunities, communicate new initiatives, and help the team capitalize on them to stay ahead of the competition.
  • Pricing & Competitiveness: Collaborate on contract pricing reviews, ensuring pricing is competitive and meets market standards.

You’re Likely a Match If you have

  • Proven negotiation and sales ability with a demonstrated track record of success.
  • Strong mentoring and coaching skills to support the growth of team members.
  • Experience in the Hardware market, specifically in Timber, Plumbing, and Building materials.
  • Ability to develop and implement sales and business plans, driving results across the region.
  • An understanding of financials and business acumen to make informed decisions.
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to travel within the region as required.
