About the Opportunity
The Operations Manager (Adelaide/Regional) is responsible for leading and coaching store leadership and teams, optimizing daily retail operations within a defined region.
Deliver outstanding customer experiences, operational excellence, and sustainable business growth.
This role combines strategic planning with hands-on leadership to ensure Mitre10 retail stores performance, aligns with company objectives, operational efficiencies are maximized and stores are equipped to achieve sales, service, and profitability targets.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead and coach a network of retail stores to deliver strong sales, operational excellence, and outstanding customer experiences.
- Develop and implement strategies that drive growth, profitability, and team performance across your region.
- Build a high-performing, customer-focused culture through leadership, coaching, succession planning, and team development.
- Ensure stores consistently meet company standards across presentation, merchandising, safety, compliance, and service delivery.
- Monitor operational performance, analyse key metrics, and implement initiatives to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Manage budgets, labour, inventory, and resources to achieve financial targets and maximise store performance.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver consistent brand experiences and support business objectives.

- Proven experience in a senior operations management role with multi-site responsibility.
- Strong strategic planning and analytical skills.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and influencing abilities.
- Demonstrated experience in driving operational transformation and process improvement.
- Strong financial acumen with budget and P&L management experience.
- Results-oriented with a strategic mindset.
