Trade Account Manager

About the role

A great opportunity has arisen in our network for a Trade Account Manager. Reporting to our Regional Sales Manager. The role can be based at either our Launceston Store or our St. Helens Store and represents our Becks Mitre 10 brand in the North-East region of Tasmania.

What you will be doing

• Achieve sales, margin and product mix targets
• Attract new customers in addition to growing existing business
• Analyse sales and customer data to identify new opportunities
• Manage a diverse Builder centric customer base
• Develop and implement trade sales plans and initiatives
• You will be responsible for communicating and representing the Mitre10 brand to our key stakeholders through sales meetings, training and industry events

What you will bring to the role 

• A strong ability to develop and maintain B2B relationships and influence decision-making
• A comprehensive understanding and previous experience in Timber, Plumbing and Building materials
• Previous experience in a similar sales role with a drive for success
• Excellent negotiation and presentation skills are essential
• A sound business acumen with the ability to understand relevant financials  
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
