Trade Support Team Member

About the role 

A great opportunity has become available at our Becks Mitre 10 Launceston store for an experienced Trade Support Team Member. We are open to both casual and full-time arrangements, with shifts rostered across a 5-day trading week (Monday to Friday) between 7:30 and 4:30pm.

You will support our Trade Sales Team with administrative tasks and help deliver excellent service to our trade customers. You’ll use your experience in trade, retail or administration to manage enquiries, process orders and build strong working relationships in a fast‑paced, team‑driven environment. A passion for delivering outstanding customer service will help you succeed in this dynamic role. 

What you will be doing: 

• Liaise with Trade Account Managers to support trade account customers.
• General admin duties to support our Trade Sales team.
• Processing customer orders and preparing quotes accurately and efficiently.
• Arrange and book site deliveries, coordinating with customers and internal teams
• Handle customer queries and complaints in a professional and helpful manner.
• Maintaining accurate data and documentation.
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth operations. 

What you will bring: 

• Strong customer service focus.
• Ability to clearly communicate to customers & Suppliers via phone and email.
• Ability to multitask in a dynamic fast paced trade business.
• Previous experience in administration or customer support.
• Flexibility to work across a 5-day trading week roster
• Trade or building industry experience is an advantage but not essential. 
• Ability to work closely in a diverse team.
