Operations Compliance Supervisor

About the Opportunity

We’re looking for a Compliance & Safety Supervisor to join our Truganina, VIC team within Metcash Food & Grocery. In this leadership role, you’ll ensure warehouse operations are conducted in line with all compliance, safety, and regulatory requirements, while fostering a safe, engaged, and high-performing team culture.

In this Role

• Ensure all WHS, Food Safety (HACCP), and Chain of Responsibility (CoR) policies and procedures are implemented and maintained
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date compliance documentation and training records across all team members
• Lead and coordinate compliance training programs, identifying gaps and ensuring competency across all staff levels
• Conduct and manage site compliance audits including WHS, HACCP, facility, racking, CoR, and contractor management
• Ensure all risk assessments, SWPs/SOPs, and compliance documentation are reviewed and updated regularly
• Lead incident investigations, including root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions
• Monitor and complete site safety lead indicators in line with monthly targets
• Chair monthly WHS meetings and lead quarterly HACCP/Food Safety meetings
• Ensure all new employees are inducted and trained in accordance with compliance requirements
• Drive a safety-first culture and continuous improvement across warehouse operations

You’re Likely a Match If

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in FMCG, warehouse, or logistics operations
• Strong knowledge of WHS/OH&S, HACCP, and regulatory compliance requirements
• Experience managing compliance audits, documentation, and reporting
• Proven ability in incident investigation and root cause analysis
• Demonstrated experience in training coordination and staff development
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• A strong commitment to maintaining a safe and compliant work environment
