About the Opportunity
We’re on the hunt for a passionate Trade Activation Manager to lead the implementation of state promotional campaigns and business plans across the Victorian IGA supermarket network.
In this pivotal role, you’ll own the activation plan for your defined categories across the state and lead the charge to drive IGA growth, market share and consumer loyalty to ensure our retailers remain competitive.
A natural relationship builder, you’ll take a data led approach and collaborate with cross-functional teams to define retailer prioritisation against campaign targets, sell in programs to key multi-store retailers, and be responsible for the delivery of an integrated program that amplifies wholesale and retail sales as well as retailer gross profit, under a national category management framework.

In this Role
- Plan and execute trade activation programs that increase sales, enhance brand visibility, and strengthen retailer relationships
- Work closely with internal teams (Sales Operations, Shopper, Brand & Loyalty, and Category Management) to align trade promotions with broader business strategies
- Manage budgets for trade activations, ensuring campaigns are delivered on time and within financial constraint
- Track campaign performance, analyse results, and provide recommendations for continuous improvement
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of trade activation campaigns at the retail level
- Gather customer and retailer insights to help refine and optimise future trade programs
You’re Likely a Match If
- Experience in or exposure to a relevant FMCG role, such as Trade Activations, Field Implementations or Account Management
- A strong track record of developing activation plans and executing strategies
- Ability to synthesise complex data into clear insights and action plans
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to develop and maintain strong traderelationships
- Proven experience in successfully operating within cross-functional teams
- Exceptional presentation and influencing skills
- In-depth knowledge of supermarket retailing and supply chain operations
- Solid understanding of industry products and market trends
- Proficient in using MS Office applications
