Warehouse Supervisor

About the Opportunity

We’re looking for Warehouse Supervisors to join our Truganina, VIC team within the Metcash Food & Grocery pillar. In this leadership role, you’ll ensure warehouse operations are conducted in line with Metcash policies and procedures, while fostering a cohesive, safe, and high-performing team culture.

In this Role

• Warehouse performance to standard

• People and performance management (through training, counselling, tool box meetings, FTR’s ATR’s LTR’s)

• Identify training needs and co-ordinate training (in house and through training courses)

• Warehouse shrinkage/ullage

• Achieve business and personal KPI’s as per Target Plan

• Ensure compliance with company standards & procedures (including but not limited to OH&S, injury management, HR, HACCP, COR, NTP)

• Deliver high level of customer service / delivery in full on time (DIFOT)

• Coordinate inbound and outbound freight

You’re Likely a Match If  

• Minimum 3 years experience in FMCG or similar role

• Competencies in logistics i.e. WMS, material handling, transport

• Ability to deliver or co-ordinate team member training

• Knowledge of statutory regulations including HACCP and OH&S

• Strong safety culture

• Excellent communication skills

• Competent in MS Office

• Strong customer focus

• Experience in leading teams and managing performance
