About the Opportunity 

We have an exciting opportunity to join Superior Food & Convenience as Day Shift Warehouse Supervisor based out of our Wingfield branch in Adelaide.  The ideal candidate will be someone looking to build on their existing Warehouse Experience in a unique and rewarding industry. You will have an understanding of picking orders for despatch. The person we seek must have a desire to learn and grow as part of a team and build a strong and successful business for the future.

In this Role 

Reporting directly to the Day shift Operations Manager, it is a full-time position based in Wingfield, Adelaide. You will be working closely with the existing team to ensure:

  • Oversee daily warehouse operations to ensure efficient, safe, and accurate fulfillment of orders during the day shift.
  • Supervise order fulfillment processes, including picking, packing, and dispatching customer orders to meet service level agreements.
  • Manage stock replenishment activities to maintain optimal inventory availability and minimize picking downtime.
  • Monitor and maintain stock levels, conduct regular cycle counts, and support inventory accuracy initiatives.
  • Coordinate goods-in processes, including receipt, inspection, and documentation of incoming shipments.
  • Ensure accurate and timely customer invoicing by verifying shipment documentation and coordinating with finance/logistics teams.
  • Maintain warehouse equipment and workspaces in compliance with company standards, health & safety regulations
  • Lead, coach, and support a small team of store personnel and delivery drivers, including daily task delegation, performance monitoring, and shift handover coordination.
  • Collaborate with key internal stakeholders (e.g., Operations Manager, Logistics, Customer Service) to resolve issues, improve workflows, and drive continuous improvement.

You’re Likely a Match If

  • Previous experience in a warehousing or logistics role would be advantageous
  • Must have a current Forklift license (LF) with reach truck experience an advantage
  • An outgoing personality with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Be self-motivated, work without supervision, and able to prioritise task effectively
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Must have Transport
  • Positive attitude towards OH&S guidelines
  • Hold MR or HR licence (advantageous)
