Trade Yard Team Member - Woodridge - Finlayson's

About the role

Finlayson's has an opportunity to work with our great team at our Woodridge site. The successful candidates will provide excellent customer service, must be motivated and be relied upon to work in a team environment and contribute to the performance of the store.

This role is a full-time permanent position - Monday - Friday (no weekends required).

What you will be doing

• Physical work with some heavy lifting required
• Loading & unloading of trucks
• Stock control ensuring all deliveries are accurate and checked as per company policy
• Ensuring the health and safety of all fellow staff, customers and contractors within their department
• Serving customers in the yard, helping them with their orders, and providing them with fast, efficient service
• Picking orders to be sent out on delivery trucks
• Putting away stock, mainly timber and associated products

What you will bring

• Demonstrate a strong customer focus and ability to work in a team environment 
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Prioritise workload to effectively meet deadlines
• Must be physically fit and able to be on your feet all day
• An eye for detail and a sense of urgency
• Current Drivers Licence (essential)
• Forklift Licence not essential but advantageous
