About the Opportunity

We’re on the lookout for a detail-oriented and organised Estimator to join our team. This role plays a key part in supporting our customers and Trade Account Managers by delivering accurate and timely quotes across building projects.

Working closely with Sales, Operations and Contracts teams, you’ll ensure a seamless quoting process from initial take-off through to tender submission — making this an ideal opportunity for someone looking to grow their career within the construction or timber/building supply industry.

In this Role, You Will:

• Prepare plan take-offs and pricing estimates for building projects
• Interpret architectural, engineering, tender and contract documentation
• Cost, prepare and manage tenders from start to submission
• Work collaboratively with Trade Account Managers to deliver seamless quoting outcomes
• Support continuous improvement of estimating processes using estimating software and Office 365 tools
• Prepare quotation packages and supporting documentation
• Monitor and report on project budgets to ensure accuracy and cost control
• Coordinate external services where required to complete plans

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience in estimating, building materials, or trade/timber sales environments
• Strong understanding of construction project stages
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering plans
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Proactive mindset with the ability to use initiative
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
