About The Role

 

Finlayson’s Zillmere is seeking a reliable and organised Sales Administration Assistant to join our busy team in the timber and construction industry. This is a full-time, Monday to Friday role, ideal for someone who enjoys variety, working in a fast-paced environment, and being a key support to operations and sales teams.

 

Responsibilities

 

  • General office administration and day-to-day support

  • Answering and directing phone calls and emails

  • Data entry, filing, and document management

  • Processing purchase orders, invoices, and delivery dockets

  • Assisting with scheduling, job tracking, and coordination

  • Supporting sales and operations teams with administrative tasks

  • Maintaining accurate records and databases

  • Liaising with customers, suppliers, and internal teams

  • Ensuring the office runs smoothly and efficiently

 

 

About You

 

 

You will ideally have:

 

  • Previous experience in an administration or office support role

  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

  • Confident communication skills (written and verbal)

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)

  • Ability to prioritise tasks and work independently

  • A proactive, can-do attitude

  • Experience in the timber, trade, or construction industry (highly regarded but not essential)
