Casual Team Member/Forklift Driver

Finlayson Frame & Truss is on the lookout for a reliable, energetic team player to join our Trade Yard in Zillmere, Queensland.

This is a casual role with a roster across Monday to Friday, perfect for someone who enjoys physical work, variety in their day, and helping tradies and builders get what they need - fast! You'll be doing everything from picking and packing orders, loading trucks, driving forklift and keeping the yard in top shape, to delivering top-notch service to our customers.

What you'll be doing

1. Assist in the assembly and manufacture of timber frames and trusses to meet precise specifications
2. Operate and maintain production equipment in a safe and efficient manner
3. Collaborate with the team to identify and implement process improvements
4. Ensure a high standard of workmanship and quality control throughout the production process
5. Contribute to a positive and productive work environment

What we're looking for

1. A current forklift licence
2. Previous experience in a manufacturing or construction-related role, preferably in frame and truss production
3. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
4. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
5. Familiarity with power tools and production equipment
6. Good problem-solving and communication skills
7. A safety-focused mindset and willingness to comply with all WHS requirements
